How to Use Blogs in the Classroom

Wow! You have to check this out. Exploring our Dynamic Earth - Using Blogs to Learn. I'm impressed by the creative and collaborative design of this site. Instructors are always asking how in the world would they ever use a blog for learning. Well, here's their answer. The blog is just one component of this venture.

Kudos to both instructors.

I visited several sites to get ideas on items I would like to include on my blogg. Features I liked where class photos, the ability to see what students have logged on, the templets that encouraged student to explore what information was included on that site. I was discouraged that some of the link came up page not found, which makes me wonder if that is something as a teacher you have to keep checking to make sure that the link do not go down and your assignment becomes invalid.
