QUESTION!
Since this is a class about blogging, we thought you might want to do a little, well, blogging. So, if you were to integrate blogs or blogging into your curriculum or professional development, how do you think you would most likely do that?

I am going to use my blog post as a tool for medical students, faculty and staff of OSU-CHS as well as others not affiliated with OSU-CHS to ask questions and comment on new research studies the doctors are doing. I want feature a new doctor, researh topic and/or up and coming studies for the school each month or every two weeks. I think this will be beneficial for the school because it will allow students and other people to look at what kinds of research OSU-CHS is doing.

I believe I would begin by using a blog as a Resource tool by providing various links, quotes, and other reference material. This would augment the course text and classroom discussion.

Many times students will express interest in a topic related to the chapter, but not covered very throughly in the text. I could use the blog to post additional resources that might be of interest to the students...plus encourage student comments to the material. I would also challenge students to add their own links and research findings.

I think this would just help the students dig deeper and make the material more meaningful.
